What does it mean to consciously create your life?

Imagine that the world out there is a mirror, reflecting back your inner world.

Your thoughts and emotions program your external reality. You can look at it as a computer – a conscious computer.

The inputs are your thoughts, emotions, and beliefs. The output is the reality you experience.

Your inner world creates your outer world.

There are infinite possibilities that you can experience – infinite potential outputs and timelines. You are the creator.

Your thoughts and emotions influence your vibrational frequency, which is constantly changing. Your frequency at any given moment pulls to you the reality that matches it in vibration.

This is why someone who has been practicing feeling abundant and prosperous from within (regardless of the actual number in their bank account) suddenly attracts money, or new income streams and opportunities, from various sources.

This is why someone who has starts feeling abundant in love – for themselves, their friends, and in life in general – finally meets the love of their life.

You shift from reality to reality, billions of times a second. We only view our lives as linear because we live in the linear construct of time. But if you can wrap your mind around it, all possibilities and pathways are happening at once. You get to choose which reality you experience in your awareness.

“If we think of the entire universe as a massive consciousness computer, then consciousness itself is the operating system, and reality is the output. Just as a computer’s operating system is fixed and changes must come from the programs that speak to it, in order to change our world, we must alter the programs that make sense to reality: feelings, emotions, prayers, and beliefs.”

-Gregg Braden

This is why it’s so important to understand your limiting beliefs and clear unresolved emotions and traumas. They affect your inputs more than you know.

This is why forgiveness is important. Letting go of what’s weighing you down (density) allows you raise your consciousness and experience a lighter, more harmonious reality.

This is why morning rituals are powerful. If you start the day in a positive space of presence and gratitude, you slow down the momentum of negative thoughts. Your lighter mood and open perspective literally shifts how you experience your morning. And if you keep the positive momentum going, it can change the entire course of your day. The difference may be so subtle that you think it’s a coincidence, but it isn’t.

When you let go of what no longer serves you, you’re catapulted into a new reality – whether it’s ending a relationship, quitting your job, moving to a new place, or setting boundaries to honor your needs. You end an old timeline and create room for something new.

And if you dive deeply into your inner work, you’ll likely find that your surroundings (job, relationship, friends, diet, home) no longer fit who you’re becoming. You start making big changes because your life no longer matches who you are inside.

Your emotions magnetize your dreams. This is why it’s so important to feel good while you visualize and set intentions. Instead of feeding thoughts based in lack and scarcity, find comforting thoughts that bring you peace with where you are right now.

“Feelings is the language that speaks to the divine matrix. Feel as though your goal is accomplished and your prayer is already answered.”

-Gregg Braden

You can change your life and claim the reality you prefer – if you believe you can, and if you can feel the joy of it as if it has already happened. Every day, you program your energetic field with your thoughts and emotions. Whether you’re aware of it or not makes all the difference.

Time and time again, it has been found that thousands of people gathering to meditate on peace have been able to lower the rate of violence and crime.

This is how powerful you are. You program your life every day – in both subtle and life-changing ways.

[Disclaimer: I’m not saying that you consciously create, or deserve, every experience. There are some unwanted experiences that you did not choose to create (like abuse). This is because we do live in a universe of risk, where others also have free will – and they can choose to hurt us. We also consciously create our shared reality as a collective – which is why it’s harder to change the greater societal systems and rules that are in place. And there are other ‘inputs’ at play, like ancestral traumas/beliefs that you unknowingly carry, soul contracts, karma from past lives, deep subconscious fears, etc.]

“The way to change the output is through the language that the system recognizes. We must become in our lives the very things that we choose to experience in our world. Everything that we could ever imagine, and probably things that we’ve never considered, are possible within this mode of seeing ourselves. Each moment we’re sending our messages of emotion, feelings, prayers, and belief to consciousness, which translates the code of what we send into the daily reality of our bodies, relationships, lives, and the world. The question now is less about whether this language exists and more about how intentionally we use it in our lives.”
